In 2023, Emily spent 24 nights and days over 6 weeks living in the gallery alone at MONA (Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art). Emily is heading back into the fray on October 3rd 2024 from Thursday nights – Monday afternoons till November 11th.

You will find livestreams of each day of composition, daily concert performances and each night’s sleep….yes that is pretty weird…
The purpose of the livestream overnight is not for exhibitionism; moreover for Emily’s documentation of her behavioural sleep disorder. This enables her to see what has happened during the night….sleep talks, sleep walks, panics, meanderings…. This then becomes fodder for the day’s composition.
